01/It works for the reviewer0/4

  • Apple rejects builds that crash or show obvious bugs (2.1). Install it through TestFlight on your own phone first.

    App Review Guidelines ↗
  • If your app has a login, put a demo account in the review notes, and keep your backend running while it's in review (2.1).

  • Placeholder text, empty pages and test content get an app rejected (2.1).

  • Anything behind a login, a paywall or a setting: where it is and how to reach it.

02/Accounts and privacy0/5

  • If your app lets people create an account, it has to let them delete it from inside the app (5.1.1(v)).

  • In App Store Connect, and inside the app where it's easy to find (5.1.1(i)).

  • App Store Connect asks what data you collect and why, and shows it on your product page. Check it against every SDK you ship.

  • Following people's activity across other companies' apps and sites needs their permission, through App Tracking Transparency (5.1.2(i)).

  • Sign in with Google or Facebook means also offering one that limits data to name and email and lets people hide their email, such as Sign in with Apple (4.8).

03/The listing0/3

  • Not only a title card, a login page or a splash screen (2.3.3).

  • No other platforms' names, icons or imagery in your app or its listing (2.3.10).

  • Your Support URL needs an easy way to contact you (1.5).

04/Money0/2

  • Subscriptions, premium content and unlocked features inside the app go through In-App Purchase (3.1.1).

  • Under $1M a year in proceeds, Apple's commission drops from 30% to 15%, from the month after you're approved.
